Breguet a Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches, founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet in Paris in 1775. Currently part of the Swatch Group, watches are now manufactured ITS (since 1976) in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland.
The company, together with Vacheron Constantin, is one of the oldest preserved watch facilities and pioneer of watchmakers.
Numerous technologies, the Tourbillon: invented by Abraham-Louis Breguet. He also produced the first watch in 1810.
Breguet watches are well-known for their often easy-to-recognize coin-edge guilloché dials and blue hands (often referred to as “Breguetiger” now).
In addition to the watches, Breguet produces writing instruments, women’s jewelry and cufflinks.
