Parmigiani Fleurier was founded in 1996 in Val-de-Travers. Founder Michel Parmigiani had designed the brand as early as 1976 through his work on the restoration of wrist watches and his detailed knowledge of the historical mechanical watches and watches.

Parmigiani manufactures a men’s watch and a line specially for women. All Parmigiani Fleurier watches are handmade and need at least four hundred hours together, they are made with only precious metals and precious semi-precious stones. To create exclusivity, only a few thousand pieces are produced every year. Its watch lines include the Toric, Forma (renamed Kalpa) and the individual watch, the Bugatti 370.

In 2006, the Bugatti 370 was awarded the “Watch of the Year” by the Japanese press.

The watch is based on the Bugatti Veyron Supercar. It is designed to look like a transversal motor, and is mounted in 18 karat gold. To make it readable during the ride, the face of the watch was placed in a vertical position on the front of the case. The first Bugatti watch was given to the car enthusiast Ralph Lauren. Only one hundred and fifty of the watches are made every year, fifty of each of the three dial colors.

The watch costs USD 200,000. In 2009, Parmigiani Fleurier and Pershing, the Italian Yacht Company announced that they will offer the first line of Pershing Aquatic sports watches. The watch will be available in two different lines – the limited edition one-one-five, and the Pershing Chronograph Collection. The watch is available with a rubber band or steel bracelet and is waterproof up to 200 meters.
